I booked a car from

I booked a car from a location which didn’t exist, fault of your website, not eurocar. Confusion not helped by you not passing my phone number to Eurocar. Pick up was booked by your website at a random hotel, not mine, nor the site I was expecting to pick car up at. Eurocar rep was amazing though.

The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Due to a pleasing fusion of fabulous beaches and historic attractions, the Cypriot city of Paphos is a favoured holiday destination for Europeans. Paphos sits on the west coast of Cyprus and travelling between the old and new city quarters and beaches is most comfortable with a self-drive rental vehicle. The cheapest rates are often found if you compare car hire online.

Paphos International Airport is 10kms southwest of the city and the main gateway to western Cyprus. The chief sights in the new town are accessible on foot. There is a limited bus service to resorts along the coast, but services to inland villages and towns are almost non-existent and car hire in Paphos is the only option.

Car Hire Paphos

With their own vehicle, holidaymakers can travel beyond the city's picturesque port and Paphos Archaeological Park's houses of Dionysos and Theseus. Self-drives are perfect for reaching the Akamas Peninsula, Petra tou Romiou and beaches in the vicinity. Both local and international vehicle suppliers, such as Alamo and Avis, are represented in Paphos.

Driving

The city's streets and lanes are narrow and probably best negotiated on foot. Self-drive comes into its own when used to get to beaches and tourist sights in the locality. Apart from the A6 motorway to Limassol, roads are not busy. They are reasonably well maintained, but in the hills inland they tend to meander. Motorists will find driving around the area's picturesque landscapes a pleasure.
