Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Leon Airport, more commonly known as Guanajuato International Airport, is a relatively-modern facility which serves the city of Leon, in Central Mexico. Leon is one of the biggest cities in the country and as such, its airport is served by a number of carriers. Domestic travellers can fly here in just 45 minutes from Mexico City, courtesy of Aeroméxico Connect.
