The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Domodedovo International Airport is situated at 21 miles (34 kms) south of Moscow. It handles the largest amount of domestic and international air cargo in Russia. Domodedovo Airport has one terminal divided into two piers, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights. The two piers are within easy walking distance of each other.

Domodedovo is connected to the Paveletsky Rail Terminal in downtown Moscow by the Aeroexpress trains. The trains run every half hour from 6am to 11pm to the airport and from 7am to m12pm to the city. The ride lasts around 40 minutes and passengers can check in at the Paveletsky Terminal.

There is also a regular coach service which runs every 15 minutes from 6am to 12 midnight. Share taxis to and from the Metro station are available as well.

There is ample parking space at Domodedovo Airport and short term parking is available near the terminals.
