The main draw of Ibiza is undoubtedly the outrageous clubbing scene. The best venues are Pacha and Amnesia, where many big-name DJs play during the summer. When visitors aren't busy partying, there are many sights and activities to keep them busy. Amazing views are available from Cala Bassa and the Castle of Ibiza. There are also many historic sites and beaches to explore, with San Antonio the busiest resort.

The really warm weather begins in Ibiza in May, and the summer months are hectic, hot and crowded so if this is not to your taste, a visit in the autumn or early spring may be a better choice. The month that sees the highest rainfall is October but even this month experiences around 200 hours of sunshine. The average winter temperature is 15°C and the mercury almost never falls below 10°C at this time.
