The link between compare car

The link between compare car hire and Europcar did not seem robust. Having made a booking the desk at our destination seemed unsure how to process the information. The subsequent email informing us that no car was available, even though we had already collected it, just added to our impression that it would probably be better to book direct rather than through a comparison website.

The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

There might be a bit of a confusion when talking about Stockholm airports in Sweden as there are three different terms attached to its name. First we have the Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) airport which is located 25 miles north of the city of Stockholm, Sweden. In the Stockholm – Arlanda airport, there are five mini terminals that are all interconnected – all are accessible within walking distances. A train station is conveniently located under the terminals as well as cheap Stockholm airport car hire, for easy travel to the city.

Second is the Stockholm-Bromma (BMA) Airport which is located five miles from the city and third is the Stockholm – Skavsta (NYO) Airport which is located 59 miles southwest of the city of Stockholm.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
