Antalya is one of the most popular coastal resort areas in Turkey, earning it the nickname the Turkish Riviera. Nestled along the Mediterranean coast, this city offers a nice mix of history, natural beauty and beaches. There is plenty to explore here and self-driving is the easiest way to experience everything Antalya and its surrounding region has to offer.

Antalya Airport is located just east of the city centre and is the main air link into this area. There are buses providing local transportation into town, but most visitors will end up using taxis, which are inexpensive. However, for trips outside the city limits it is best to consider car hire in Antalya.

Visitors will find plenty of options when it comes to renting their own vehicle. In the city centre there are both local and international companies offering vehicles. Known brand names include Avis, Budget and National but be sure to compare car hire rates online to get the best deals. Driving

Self-driving is fairly easy in Turkey, as the main roads are well-maintained and English signage is generally good. Public transportation is not particularly reliable here, making self-driving a much better option.

There is plenty to do and see beyond the beaches and car rental in Antalya is the ideal way to get around. The Taurus mountain range is a great place to cool off, do some hiking and enjoy the nature. Along the coast, visitors will find the Lower Dueden Falls, which cascade into the Mediterranean. The Upper Dueden Falls are also worth exploring.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

 When will I get a confirmation of my booking?

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
