Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

If you choose to visit the beaches later on and visit some other places first, you can go check out Alabama Theatre and enjoy some shows there. They can have a relaxing time in South Carolina's House of Blues. They can play golf in one of the many golf courses available in Myrtle Beach. If it's shopping that you're into, you'll find that Myrtle Beach has loads of great shopping sites for its visitors. Check out Various things at Barefoot Landing, go on a shopping spree at Broadway at the Beach, roam around a bit till you find something to buy for yourself from the Grand Mall, get that perfect bikini that'll surely make you look hot at Swimwear and Bikini stores at the beach. Trust me; there are just too many great shopping sites that you might want to get yourself a car if you haven't brought one. Well, you can go get yourself one from the many cheap car hires at the Myrtle Beach Airport. Ever felt the experience of going through the hassle of going from a place to another? Well yeah, public transportations do help, but they just don't cut it. What you'll really need is to avail of a cheap car hire. It's just the best thing to do.
